Will my dress need alterations?

What if the dress doesn't fit?
For ready-to-wear pieces, please refer to our 14-day return policy. Bridal gowns must be unworn, unaltered, and in original condition with all tags and packaging intact to be eligible for return. Custom-made pieces are created specifically for you and are non-returnable, so accurate measurements are essential.

Where do you ship bridal gowns?
We ship worldwide! Whether you're getting married in New York, London, Sydney, or anywhere in between, we'll deliver your dream dress to your door with secure international shipping.
How is my dress packaged?
Your bridal gown will be carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. Upon arrival, remove it from packaging promptly and hang it to allow any wrinkles to naturally release. Steam or professional pressing may be needed closer to your wedding date.
Can I track my bridal order?
Yes! Once your dress ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can monitor its journey to you.
What if my dress is damaged during shipping?
If your gown arrives damaged, contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) at support@nvplussize.com with photos. We'll work quickly to resolve the issue and ensure you have your perfect dress for your big day.
Returns & Exchanges
Can I return my wedding dress?
Ready-to-wear pieces can be returned within our 14-day return policy. To be eligible, your bridal gown must be:
- Unworn and unaltered
- In original condition with no signs of styling or fitting
- In original packaging with all tags, hygiene stickers, and security seals intact
- Returned with proof of purchase
You must contact us first at support@nvplussize.com to receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) before shipping your return.
Can I return custom-made pieces?
Custom bridal and formal wear created to your personal measurements and design specifications are made specifically for you and cannot be returned or exchanged. We work closely with you throughout the design process to ensure you're completely satisfied before creation begins.
Can I exchange my dress for a different size or style?
For ready-to-wear pieces, the fastest way to get a different size or style is to return your original dress (following our return process) and place a new order for your preferred option once the return is processed.
What if I've had alterations done?
Unfortunately, once a dress has been altered, it cannot be returned as it's no longer in its original condition. We strongly recommend confirming your size and style choice before having any alterations performed.
